Collection: Tajette O'Halloran

Tajette O'Halloran is an Australian artist whose practice is primarily concerned with conversations of place, identity, and social relationships, within the context of Australian suburbia. Her photographs often intertwine elements of social documentation with more theatrical modes of photography.

O'Halloran has extensively exhibited both nationally and internationally. As well as this, she has won and been shortlisted for a number of photographic awards, including the British Journal of Photography Portrait of Humanity Award (winner, 2019), Lens Culture Portrait Award (Juror's Prize, 2021) the Doug Moran Portrait Prize (finalist, 2016–2019), and the William & Winifred Bowness Photography Prize (honourable mention, 2016).
