Collection: Georgia McFarland

Each work in Georgia’s first collection with The Gallerist tells its own story constructed from her colorful interpretations of a suburban, coastal Australian summer. This collection includes two earlier poolside works from the artist as well as two recent ones showing the progression of the artists practice up to the point of creating the winning work of The Gallerists Emerging Artist Prize. We can see the development of movement and life in Georgia’s work as she moves into an era of stronger storytelling through her scenes. Georgia’s collection shows her portrayal of relatable Australian inspired pool-scapes, figures and still-life elements.
