Collection: Jennifer Ross

Jennifer is a painter working on Naarm/Melbourne.
Her paintings explore and process yearnings for people and times past, whilst anchoring her in the present. Gentle moments of contemplation are captured in her still life oil paintings.
She taught art in Secondary schools and later to adults with intellectual disabilities, before taking time to work on her own art practice.

Artist statement:
“When I paint it is a time of introspection, a quiet time of peace in an uncertain world. I play around with objects, placing, moving, adding, removing, until I have arranged them to express a thought, a moment, a longing, an acceptance.
