I spent time with Yanyuwa/Garrwa artist Miriam Charlie while she travelled back to Borroloola from Darwin to vist her family, after a long time. Charlie photographs overcrowded Indigenous housing in her community with an old polaroid Camera, during this time we focussed on having an article published in the mainstream media to spread awareness about the situation. Here she is pictured on the far right with her sister, Jeanette, and her grandson, Elmazri - captivated by a bright light in the evening sky.
